Werewolf, a short Film by Matthew D'Abate, recently screened in Williamsburg was well received and an EP of the score (plus music inspired by the film) will be released soon. This score features the debut of CN's GUITARVIOL playing.

Score to feature documentary by Diana Quinones Rivera. 45 minutes of music created and performed by the composer. 38 track Ambient, Jazzy, Ameri-folky, Quirky score featuring acoustic bass, vibraphone, treated electric guitar, cigar box guitar, whistling and sioux drum married together in warm reverb.

Music and songs from the Angelica Torn film including the score: ambient guitar textures, tunes from the "old country" - italian and russian, interwoven themes on guitar, melodica, glockenspiel, bass and percussion performed by the composer. This soundtrack includes songs by Ferdinand the Bull & Local Celebrity Band.

CN's second compilation of music for short films will include his latest score for Abidjan, S&M, Case Closed, Mary's Journal: Connected, and Bemvindo.

bass, drums, percussion, kalimba, harmonica, piano, hammered dulcimer,
etc.) with Andy Middleton on tenor / soprano sax, Ethel (string
quartet) and a short classical piano fantasia performed by Elizabeth
Rodgers. Recorded at the composer's home studio and Manhattan Producers
Alliance, the soundtrack album is available on itunes and cdbaby.

Christopher North's second album of music for film is a compilation of his recent short film scores. A diverse collection of fuzzy lo-fi avant garde, jangly piano improv., moody sound design, ameri-folky / classical score & some just plain weird stuff.

"(short) film music volume one" is Christopher North's 7th album and his second film score release. Having completed the scores for 7 short films in 2008-2009 with strong responses, CN will launch shortfilmmusic.com soon to promote this album and bring together both "short music for film" (that is, short in duration, tracks for film) AND "music composed for short films." Is it possible for an 0:18 second long track to blow your mind? Listen to this album late at night with the shuffle engaged and see for yourself. Or then again, listen to "just wait" / track number 14 - the odd man out coming in at 5:05 - and create a movie in your mind. Oh yeah, just for you iphone fans, tracks 1 to 13 were recorded on an iphone (tweaked later in logic), as well the cover image captured looking out the window from the back of a nyc cab en route to a meeting with a director.
